This interplay of identities significantly impacts my worldview, particularly in how I perceive and engage with societal issues such as race, gender equity, and social justice. My experiences and background equip me with a unique framework for understanding the complexities of the world, allowing me to approach these critical topics with depth and insight. My identity as a Black individual is fundamental to who I am; it embodies a rich and universal essence. The color black, which I frequently incorporate into my artwork, serves as a powerful symbol of my identity. It transcends boundaries and does not exclude or diminish the presence of other colors, reflecting the inclusivity and strength found within the Black experience.
