Celestial Conversations. Digital art created on canvas. September 3, 2024. Afrika Abney “What did the tree learn from the earth to be able to talk with the sky?” — Pablo Neruda “The inquiry posed by Pablo Neruda reflects a profound connection between nature's elements, specifically the relationship between the tree and the earth, and how this bond enables the tree to communicate with the sky. It suggests that the tree, rooted in the earth, absorbs not only nutrients but also wisdom and experiences from its surroundings. This learning process is essential for the tree to develop the ability to reach out and engage with the vastness of the sky, symbolizing a dialogue between the grounded and the ethereal.”
