Genuine Expressions. Digital art created on canvas. September 4, 2024. Afrika Abney “Every genuine work of art has as much reason for being as the earth and the sun.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson “Ralph Waldo Emerson posits that every authentic piece of art possesses an intrinsic justification for its existence, comparable to the fundamental reasons for the existence of the earth and the sun. This assertion emphasizes the profound significance that art holds in the human experience, suggesting that it is not merely a product of creativity but rather an essential element of our world. Just as the earth and the sun are vital to life, so too is art a crucial component that enriches our understanding and appreciation of existence.”
