I have recently completed an abstract digital painting titled "Equality Awareness Weekend." This artwork serves as a visual commentary on the critical need to acknowledge and confront social injustices, particularly during the holiday season when themes of equality and community are often highlighted. “The Labor Day weekend is often viewed as a time for celebration and appreciation of the workforce; however, it is crucial to recognize that many individuals still face the harsh realities of inequality and discrimination. The ideals of fairness and justice that this holiday represents are overshadowed by the persistent issues of racism and social injustice.”
