Spectrum of Abstraction. Digital art created on canvas. September 24, 2024. Afrika Abney “The concept of the Spectrum of Abstraction highlights the significance of employing color, form, and texture to craft artistic compositions that elicit emotional responses and stimulate intellectual engagement, all while steering clear of realistic representations. During my time as a student at NationHouse, I delved deeply into the realm of abstract art alongside various other visual art disciplines. This educational journey provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how abstract elements can be manipulated to convey complex ideas and emotions. The exploration of different techniques and styles enriched my appreciation for the nuances of abstraction and its ability to transcend traditional artistic boundaries.”
