Working in Museums/Galleries

Galleries typically select artists based on relationships, either through introductions to the artist's work or meeting the artist first. To connect with a gallery, it's crucial to build a relationship with them. I have a background working in various museums and galleries including The New Harlem Gallery and the Phillips Collection. I have showcased my artwork extensively along the East Coast at places like Emma Mae Gallery and Wisteria ArtSpace. Working as a visual artist in museums and galleries is both inspiring and challenging. Museum professionals often find fulfillment in their work, especially in engaging with the public and sharing stories from the past that help us understand ourselves.

The process of digital oil painting
