In my past experiences showcasing my artwork, I have encountered various critiques of my pieces. Art exhibitions often serve as a platform for such evaluations, where both the audience and critics engage with the displayed works. The presence of a press release distributed to media outlets further amplifies the scrutiny, as it invites a broader audience to form opinions and provide feedback on the artistic expressions presented.


Throughout my journey as an artist, I have participated in several exhibitions where my work has been subject to critical analysis. These events not only allow for the display of creativity but also foster an environment where constructive criticism can thrive. The dissemination of a press release to the press plays a significant role in this process, as it generates interest and encourages a diverse range of perspectives on the art being showcased.


My past experiences in exhibiting artwork have included receiving critiques that are integral to the artistic process. Art exhibitions are unique opportunities for artists to present their creations while simultaneously inviting commentary and evaluation from attendees and critics alike. The strategic release of information to the press enhances this dynamic, ensuring that the artwork is not only seen but also discussed, thereby enriching the overall dialogue surrounding the art.

Prelli Williams

  "Prelli Anthony Williams is a Washington, DC native and product of the DC public school system. As soon as he could hold a pencil, at the age of three (his family says) he drew on any blank surfaces, brown paper grocery bags, on back of Polaroid photos, books and walls. After graduating from Eastern High School (Washington, DC) in 1975, Prelli relocated to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts. Despite financial hardships and struggles of many Black males during that period, Williams managed to stay employed, raise a family and complete college Nine years later, receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1984 with a Major in Advertising and a Minor in Graphic Design.
