Motivation in Motion. Digital art created on canvas. September 5, 2024. Afrika Abney
“Within the sphere of abstract art, the motivation for artistic expression is often deeply intertwined with my perception of my surroundings. This perception is shaped by a multitude of factors, including the prevailing social issues, political tensions, and cultural shifts that influence daily life. As I navigate these complex realities, I may translate my experiences and reflections into abstract forms, creating works that not only capture my personal responses but also broader societal themes that inform within my art.
According to research, the color orange is associated with motivation. It may invoke feelings of enthusiasm, activity and perseverance, all feelings which may help them become more efficient and inspired. Because this color is a combination of red and yellow, it may yield the same boost in activity and physical endurance as red while having the mood-boosting ability of yellow.”
