My Charter School Experiences

In 1992, I did not attend a charter school. I have had a wide range opportunities that took place at various schools. I have not provided any services for schools as a professional visual artist and art consultant for a while. Among them include when I served as a substitute teacher for Mundo Verde PCS in 2013, I can recall working with some of the students and staff and sharing my passion and extensive background in visual arts. Additionally, I can recall when I served as a substitute teacher for DC International School. I knew a little bit of Spanish, but as a professional visual artist, I really enjoyed sharing my love and extensive background in visual arts with the students and some of the staff members at DC International from 2016-2017. Also when I served as an art elective Summer Camp teacher for Higher Achievement in 2013, the program took place at Center City Capitol Hill Campus. Providing each of these services in the past were a great opportunity for me. However, since t

My Middle School Experiences

In the 1980s, I was a middle school student at NationHouse. I often was bullied when I was a middle school student at NationHouse. As a middle school student, I was petite, statics of father absence, had an Afrocentric name, and was asked what I wanted to be. Additionally,  I still was not taught visual art at NationHouse. I learned about visual art from other art institutions. Each of these experiences in some form or another created trauma and were painful for me.  Years later, I had the opportunity to work with middle students. I have not worked with middle school students as it relates to my background as a professional visual artist and art consultant since 2016.

Working from home

For many years, I am often asked why I want to work from home without you realizing that is where I work from. In fact, most of my consultant work came from me working from home. I rarely came outside of my home when I provided my services.  "I want to work at home so I can be more productive and use all my available time to focus on my job. Rather than spending an hour a day in commute and furthermore, I can skip traffic and avoid delays due to weather conditions, I could use this time to plan and execute my work. I understand the impact I can have on the environment and wish to reduce it by working from home. I can help the company accomplish its environment-friendly goal by reducing waste and energy use. Moreover, I am more productive when I work from home. I love the work-life balance that working from home offers. When I work remotely, I can focus on my work and more focused when I work from home, where I have fewer distractions. I appreciate building professional relations
