Earthbound Essence

In the past, my hometown of Washington, DC was a vibrant community populated by individuals who shared my African-American heritage. The streets were alive with the presence of people who resembled me, creating a sense of belonging and cultural identity that was palpable. The memories of that time in Washington, DC evoke a profound appreciation for the cultural richness that comes from a shared identity. The brown skin that I wear is not merely a physical attribute; it is a representation of a legacy that intertwines with the stories of countless individuals who have come before me.
