The color orange is frequently linked to the realms of creativity, inspiration, and a vibrant enthusiasm within the artistic community. It possesses the unique ability to conjure sensations of warmth and comfort, making it a powerful tool in storytelling. In my own narratives, I harness the essence of orange to instill a sense of warmth and excitement, employing a blend of imaginative techniques that breathe life into my artistic expressions.

My narratives, infused with the spirit of orange, reflect my passion for showcasing my digital abstract paintings. Each piece is a celebration of color and technique, where orange serves as a beacon of enthusiasm that draws viewers into my creative world. Through the interplay of various hues and methods, I aim to convey not just the visual beauty of my work, but also the underlying emotions that inspire me to create.

After a night of restful sleep, I am ready to share my wonderful narratives of my digital abstract paintings that I created last night before going to sleep. Rather than being distracted by external conversations, instead I am focusing on my own goals, intentions and colors floating in my mind.

Visual art and artistic process

The digital medium provides me with the flexibility to experiment and refine my work in ways that are both innovative and efficient. Previously, my artistic process took place on the floor of my home, where I balanced both my workspace and creative endeavors. This intimate setting fostered a unique environment that encouraged spontaneity and inspiration. Transitioning from a physical workspace to a digital platform has transformed my artistic practice, enabling me to create with greater precision and versatility. The significance of repetition

The significance of repetition. Digital art created on canvas. September 28, 2024. Afrika Abney For those that do not have a background in fine art, specifically abstract painting, one needs to understand that creating art is all about repetition. Use of materials and tools to depict emotion and thoughts through color, form and shape. “The significance of repetition in both abstract digital art and traditional abstract painting cannot be overstated, as it serves as a fundamental principle that enhances the viewer's experience and understanding of the artwork. This technique not only establishes a sense of harmony and balance within the composition but also allows for the exploration of variations and transformations, inviting the audience to perceive subtle differences and nuanc...

Tranquil Skies

Tranquil Skies. Digital art created on canvas. August 14, 2024. Afrika Abney “The hue of blue has long been associated with various celestial phenomena, and one of the most captivating is its connection to the Waxing Gibbous Moon. This phase of the moon, characterized by its almost full appearance, casts a serene and enchanting glow that often evokes feelings of tranquility and introspection. The deep, rich tones of blue can mirror the vastness of the night sky, creating a harmonious relationship between the color and the moon's luminous presence. As the moon waxes, it becomes a symbol of growth and potential, much like the way blue can represent depth and stability. Waxing Gibbous Moon, the color blue takes on a deeper significance.
