Man and Woman Abstract Collage

In 2001, I created the man and woman series. Several years later, I gave away the entire series.

Men and women are opposites. Yet, treated in society unequally. Both of them have favorite colors.

"Universally, studies show that blue is both men and women’s primary preferred color. One study dove into why blue is so popular and found that it is associated with clean water, clear skies, authority, truth and tranquility.

Both men and women also like green and red as their top favorite colors. Purple is an interesting color because it lands in both the favorite and least favorite category for men and women. However, there are significantly more women who prefer the color purple over those who dislike it."

The Man and Woman series focuses on the imbalance in the relationships which creates division and tension. Each series captures how lack of compassion and empathy in a relationship can generate conflict. The colors that I used to create the series include blue and purple.

Dating Ethics

Dating co-workers in professional work settings is inappropriate. When employers hired me to provide a specific service from 1995-2018, I will always remain professional. I do not believe in dating my former co-workers of the opposite sex. I will remove myself from the setting first when I have noticed that I developed such attraction.
