“In the 1980s, I pursued my studies in fine arts at the Corcoran School of the Arts, a prestigious institution located in Washington, D.C. This period was instrumental in shaping my visual artistic vision and honing my skills in various mediums. The Corcoran School provided a rich environment for creativity, allowing me to explore different techniques and concepts that would later influence my work.
Following my initial studies, I continued my visual arts education from 1993 to 1997 in Washington, D.C. This phase of my academic journey further deepened my understanding of fine arts and expanded my exposure to contemporary practices. Engaging with a diverse community of visual artists and art educators during this time enriched my perspective and fostered a collaborative spirit that was vital to my development.
The combination of my experiences at the Corcoran School in the 1980s and my subsequent studies in the mid-1990s laid a solid foundation for my career in the visual arts. The knowledge and skills I acquired during these formative years have been invaluable, allowing me to navigate the complexities of the visual art world with confidence and creativity.”
