Colorful Weekdays

Colorful Weekdays. Digital art created on canvas. October 12, 2024. Afrika Abney

Colorful Weekdays highlight the symbolism behind each weekday.

According to my research, “each day of the week is linked to specific colors that carry distinct meanings and symbolism. Sunday is represented by the color red, while Monday is associated with yellow. Tuesday also shares the vibrant hue of red, whereas Wednesday is characterized by green. Thursday is again linked to yellow, Friday is denoted by blue, and Saturday is represented by the color black. This color-coding not only provides a visual representation of the days but also enriches the understanding of their significance.

The association of colors with the days of the week serves as a valuable tool in enhancing creativity and inspiration. By recognizing the colors tied to each day.”

Red represents determination, while yellow represents optimism. On the other hand, green represents nature and tranquility. Meanwhile, blue represents loyalty, commitment, and innovation. Finally, black represents mystery.

Upon waking up from my restful sleep and unaware of the discussions taking place, I began to implement my routine and examine my digital art.  Creative Chronicles using vibrant colors and varied brush techniques.   “Personal storytelling plays a crucial role in my artistic journey, particularly in conveying insights about my digital abstract paintings, abstract artworks, and collages. Recently, I have delved into the significance of color symbolism within my digital creations, which has led me to recognize that color serves as a vital c...

Creative Shadows Palette

Creative Shadows Palette. Digital art created on canvas. September 12, 2024. Afrika Abney Integrating elements of shadows and creativity into my professional repertoire has become a defining aspect of my work. The interplay between light and dark not only enhances the visual appeal of my projects but also adds depth and complexity to my creative expressions. By embracing these contrasting elements, I am able to craft a more nuanced narrative that resonates with my audience, inviting them to explore the subtleties and intricacies of my artistic vision. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in conventional environments as a professional visual artist and art consultant. At this stage in my life, I am not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with any single man who is over the age of 30. Viewpoint Canvas

Viewpoint Canvas. Digital art created on canvas. August 22, 2024. Afrika Abney Quote found on the Internet ““Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” You can take this seemingly simple phrase in many ways. I take it to mean that art opens our eyes to something a fellow human being saw in the subject that they thought beautiful, amazing, or otherwise worthy of expression.” – Degas “Delving into the wisdom of celebrated quotes within the visual arts can serve as a catalyst for a more profound grasp of the discipline and its societal ramifications. Such quotations frequently distill complex ideas and emotions into succinct phrases, allowing for a more accessible entry point into the broader discussions surrounding art. This engagement can illuminate the ways in which visual arts engage with contemporary issues, provoke thought, and inspire change, thereby reinforcing their relevance in today's world.”

Nature's Narrative

Nature's Narrative. Digital art created on canvas. September 15, 2024. Afrika Abney “The autumn season unfolds in a spectacular display of colors, featuring deep oranges, fiery reds, and golden yellows that captivate the senses. This transformation is not simply a shift in the appearance of leaves; it represents a grand exhibition of nature's creativity, where each leaf embodies a unique narrative. As these leaves descend from their branches, they carry with them the essence of sunlit days, the warmth of summer, and the lively energy that once flourished in their canopy. Their descent forms a vibrant carpet of color on the ground, inviting us to appreciate the intricate beauty found in both decay and renewal. This natural cycle serves as a poignant reminder that change, while constant, can also be profoundly beautiful. In this season of change, every leaf becomes a symbol of the passage of time and the cyclical patterns inherent in the natural world. The landscape transforms i...
